HISTORIC PRESERVATION SEED GRANT FUND  ·  NON-PROFIT 501(c)(3) ENTITY

Preserving Cultural Heritage Through Modern Community Support

Across the globe, historic landmarks, civic monuments, and architectural treasures face an escalating preservation crisis. Aging physical infrastructure, rigorous conservation standards, and strained municipal budgets often leave irreplaceable sites vulnerable to deferred maintenance. The Blockchain Legal Institute Foundation (BLIF) has established the Historic Preservation Seed Grant Fund to empower stewards with non-dilutive micro-grants and transparent digital support rails, delivering dedicated funding strictly to finance physical restoration without altering existing ownership, governance, or deed authority.

SPECIAL CAMPAIGN: RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT SEED FUND

November 1, 2026 – February 6, 2027

Target: $50,000 USD

To ensure lasting operational integrity, BLIF is conducting a preliminary $50,000 R&D campaign. Donations raised during this period directly fund international outreach to historical conservators, legal framework engineering, and the technical development of a transparent tokenization platform supporting future grant distribution and patron contributions.

How the Seed Grant Fund Supports Landmarks

Targeted Micro-Grants ($1,000 to $25,000)

Flexible, non-dilutive catalytic funding scaled to immediate preservation needs: from $1,000 emergency structural stabilization assessments to $25,000 comprehensive engineering surveys and project feasibility studies.

Transparent Milestone-Based Escrows

Grant funds and patron contributions disburse conditionally through programmatic escrow, releasing funds only upon on-site verification and physical sign-off by certified historic conservation architects.

Zero Ownership or Governance Interference

Existing property deeds, governing boards, public trusts, and private ownership remain 100% independent. The initiative strictly provides philanthropic and preservation assistance, never taking property title, equity, or management control.
